The Dewaterer when used in conjunction with a Disperator Food Waste Disposer will significantly reduce food waste storage and collection costs. Substantially reducing food waste volume by dewatering, enables catering operations to direct the reclaimed water straight into the drainage system, rather than storing and paying for disposal through waste collection. The Dewaterer connects to the food waste disposer by an adjustable pipe, which means the unit can easily be fitted to any of the numerous food waste disposers in the Disperator range. The unique centrifugal system of the Dewaterer reclaims the water via a filter whilst retaining the solid food volume in a collection bin. This dewatered food waste is held in the bin until removal to a refuse collection point - thus avoiding instances of overflowing, unhygienic sacks being left in the kitchen area. Cleaning the unit is a simple process, rinse down the interior and place the mesh filter in the dishwasher. The Dewaterer is manufactured in stainless steel and features a unique shaft seal design and IP55 classified motor, all designed for a robust and trouble-free performance.
