DISPERATOR FOOD WASTE DISPOSERS For commercial kitchens serving up to 2000 meals a day, Meiko's Disperator Food Waste Disposal units are the most effective and hygienic method for removing food waste. Dealing with food waste is a time, energy and space consuming process, generally considered as non-profit generating, however, kitchen food waste, managed and correctly handled, can be a cost-efficient, sustainable and environmentally important resource. This versatile range features four models designed to accommodate every type of catering operation. The Sink Mounted model, designed for installation within standard sinks, the Free-Standing cabinet unit, the Bench Mount disposer for installing into a workbench and the Trough-Mounted units designed for installation into bespoke fabricated waste flushing counters. These innovative food waste disposers operate by grinding food waste and reducing manual handling. The grinding units made of special cast steel alloy and the unique shaft seals, together with IP55 classified motors ensure the disposers give operators long and trouble-free service. Disperator food waste disposers can be retrofitted, and function primarily in isolation, however, they can also be used as an integral component within the Microvac High Vacuum Food Waste removal system.
